AUDIO & SOUND

Using Voice/Audio Tools - There is great value in letting student voice be their actual voice. For many students, taking the pencil and/or keyboard out of the learning process allows them to more easily share their ideas. It can also encourage students to hone their speaking and articulation skills. This table will explore a number of tools and apps that provide speaking and listening to be integrated into the classroom.

Note: AudioBoo and SoundCloud get their power through teachers having accounts and integrating these tools into the classroom. Create accounts! You should create accounts for the others as well.

Web Tools:

__Voki__ - __http://vimeo.com/60915435__ It can not be overstated how much kids love this tool. They will
actually write more just to hear their voki say it back to them, and their peers will actually listen to them. It is also nice that the voki can use a different voice as some students do not like to hear their own voice played back to them.
